Nook Collective Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Nook Collective’s services, facilities or attending our events, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions, as well as any additional guidelines provided.

2. Membership and Access

  • Memberships and access options are non-transferable.

  • Membership benefits are accessible only during the agreed-upon hours specified by Nook Collective.

  • Nook Collective reserves the right to adjust or amend membership prices, services and access hours at any time, with reasonable notice to members.

3. Bookings and Payments

  • Payment must be completed in advance for all memberships, casual passes, event spaces and room hire.

  • Bookings for event spaces, meeting rooms and the consult room are subject to availability and must be confirmed with a Nook Collective team member.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.

4. Use of Facilities

  • Facilities are provided on an as-is basis and are subject to availability.

  • Members and guests agree to leave spaces in the condition they were found. Any damages caused to Nook Collective property will be charged to the responsible party.

  • Rubbish and personal items must be removed at the end of each session or booking. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the space is not left in acceptable condition.

  • Any unauthorised access or misuse of spaces beyond those booked is prohibited.

5. Event Space Terms

  • Event space bookings require a deposit or bond. Nook Collective reserves the right to apply a cleaning fee of $200 if the space is not left in its original state.

  • Rubbish removal is required; additional charges apply for failure to comply.

  • Add-ons like microphones and projectors are available at an extra charge and must be pre-booked.

  • The event space is available outside regular hours upon request, subject to availability and applicable fees.

6. Staffed Kids Room

  • The staffed kids room is available for eligible memberships and events upon request, based on availability.

  • Access to the kids room must be booked in advance and a separate fee may apply for additional children.

  • Parents/guardians must remain onsite while children are in the kids room. Nook Collective does not assume liability for children’s health, safety or wellbeing.

7. Security and Safety

  • Security cameras are installed throughout Nook Collective for the safety of all members and guests.

  • Nook Collective reserves the right to deny access or terminate memberships for any behavior deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with the community’s values.

8. Liability and Insurance

  • Nook Collective is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property within the premises.

  • Members are encouraged to have personal insurance coverage for their belongings and activities.

  • Nook Collective does not provide insurance for member activities or business operations conducted on the premises.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Personal information provided by members is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Nook Collective will not share personal details with third parties unless necessary for operational purposes or as required by law.

10. Changes to Terms

  • Nook Collective reserves the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Notice of changes will be provided to members by email or via the member portal.
