What are the Kids Room operating hours at Nook Collective?
Our Kids Room operates in two sessions:
Morning session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon session: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Parents are welcome to book a double session; however, you will need to check in at the changeover time between sessions. The Kids Room is fully supervised during these hours, ensuring a safe and calm environment for your children while you work.What do I need to bring for my child?
Please bring the following items for your child:
Food and snacks: Fruit and vegetables only
Water bottle or milk bottle: Clearly labelled, along with any powders or expressed breast milk (EBM).
Nappies and creams: Clearly labelled.
Spare change of clothes.
Soothers or dummies, if used.
We provide storage for your child's bags, so please ensure all items are clearly labelled.How does Nook Collective manage allergies?
We have a strict policy of not allowing eggs or nuts on the premises to ensure the safety of all children. Please make sure that any snacks or lunches you bring for yourself or your child do not contain eggs or nuts.
If your child has any allergies, please inform our carers when you check in. If your child has been prescribed an adrenaline injector (e.g., EpiPen), please bring it along so that either you or our staff can administer it if necessary.
Our team is trained in allergy management, and we prioritise creating a safe environment for every child.What qualifications do your child-minding staff have?
Our staff are experienced in caring for babies, toddlers and young children. All staff also possess an up-to-date First Aid and CPR certificate and a Working with Children Check (WCC) to ensure a safe environment for your child.
What is the check-in and check-out process?
All parents will be required to sign in and sign out their child through our check-in/check-out system each day. This process helps us keep accurate records of who is in the Kids Room and ensures the safety of all children.
Can I leave my child at Nook Collective Kids Room while I duck out?
No, all parents are required to remain on-site while their child is in the Kids Room.
Is there a maximum capacity for the Kids Room?
Yes, the Kids Room can accommodate a limited number of children at one time. If we are at capacity, there may be a waiting list during peak times. Please contact us for details.
How do you ensure the safety and cleanliness of the Kids Room?
We take great care in maintaining a safe and clean environment. Our hygiene practices include regular cleaning schedules, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, and adhering to strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all children in our care.
Can I visit the Kids Room before my child attends?
Yes, parents are welcome to tour the facility and meet our staff prior to enrollment. Please contact us to arrange a visit.
Kids Room Usage Policy
The Kids Room is strictly available to members who are using Nook Collective for personal use only, not for paid employment. Members must not engage in any form of business or work-related activities while their child is in the Kids Room. Additionally, Kids Room services are limited to a maximum of 3-hour sessions per day.
