Nook Collective Code of Conduct Policy

At Nook Collective, we strive to create a positive, inclusive, and productive environment for all our members, guests, and staff. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for behaviour within our collaborative space and on-site kids room facilities. By using our services, you agree to adhere to this policy.

1. Respectful Behaviour

  • Treat all members, guests, and staff with respect and kindness. Discriminatory, harassing, or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

  • Foster a collaborative atmosphere by being open to diverse opinions and ideas.

2. Professional Conduct

  • Maintain a professional demeanour at all times, including during interactions in shared spaces.

  • Refrain from using offensive or inappropriate language, gestures, or materials.

3. Use of Facilities

  • Follow all guidelines regarding the use of Nook Collective facilities, including the collaborative space, meeting rooms, podcast space and kids room areas.

  • Keep shared spaces clean and tidy. Dispose of waste properly and clean up after yourself.

4. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • Respect the confidentiality of other members’ work and personal information. Do not disclose any information without permission.

  • Adhere to our Privacy Policy regarding the handling of personal information.

5. Health and Safety

  • Follow all health and safety guidelines provided by Nook Collective. Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to staff immediately.

  • Maintain good hygiene practices, especially in shared facilities.

  • Dispose of all waste and wash any used kitchen utensils

6. Kids Room Policy

  • Parents and guardians are responsible for their children while using the kids room facilities. Ensure that your child adheres to the same code of conduct.

  • Notify kids room staff of any allergies or special needs your child may have.

7. Conflict Resolution

  • If conflicts arise, address them respectfully and constructively. If necessary, involve Nook Collective staff to mediate the situation.

  • Report any breaches of this Code of Conduct to Nook Collective management promptly.

8. Consequences of Violating the Code

  • Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of membership, depending on the severity of the breach.

  • Nook Collective reserves the right to take appropriate action to ensure the safety and well-being of all members and staff.

9. Changes to the Code of Conduct

  • Nook Collective may update this Code of Conduct as necessary. Members will be notified of significant changes via email and through announcements in the space.
